"Celine's words really speak to your soul!! I must say Between the Lines exceeded my highest expectations! Really cannot recommend this book enough to everyone." Amazon.com

How does one describe a feeling? Some say there are no words that can perfectly reproduce one’s feelings in another—but poetry comes close.

Written with incredible honesty and self-knowledge, Between the Lines is a stunning collection of poems from Céline Zabad.
Ranging in length from a single line to full pages, her poems mimic at once the brevity and vastness of feeling. Her verse is at times as free as a cloud, other times as solid as stone.
Her words are philosophies and feelings in their own rights, on love, loss, loyalty, betrayal, hope, and disappointment—on life.

Whether you’re looking for new ways to think about your own feelings or are simply passionate about poetry, you’ll find plenty to love in this collection.

"Every grown woman, regardless of background or circumstance, can find some of her own stories within the pages of this book. This poetry is undeniably therapeutic for the woman who has seen a lot and done a lot." amazon.com

J. Autherine’s inaugural collection of poems and inspiration is a love offering to strong, vulnerable, badass women who lead with their hearts, love deeply and sometimes fall hard.

Wild Heart, Peaceful Soul is a deep, gritty, raw look at the thrill of loving unconditionally, as well as the mental and physical toll that it takes when peace and harmony are lost in the process.
The author draws inspirations from her own journey spanning 30 years, and also dives deeply into the vulnerable hearts of women globally, including her experience growing up in Jamaica.
She captures the pain and struggle of women who love deeply and pour into others without first filling their own jars.
A reoccurring theme is reclaiming your heart in order to live and love harmoniously.
Chapter 1, Wild Heart, takes the reader on a journey of self discovery — being an empath in a sometimes harsh world, feeling broken after losing love, not feeling good enough to be loved, facing rejection and abandonment, and navigating life with a heart that just wants to love unconditionally.
The second chapter, Peaceful Soul, is an empowering meditation on the peace that comes with reclaiming your heart — finding strength in the love and support of sister friends, practicing self-love while responsibly loving others, and finding joy in loving those that are worthy of our love.

Wild Heart, Peaceful Soul is a patchwork of vulnerability, truth and empowerment for everyone who loves deeply.

How are you?

This is the question that for most of us will remain unanswered by the simple utterance of "I'm fine".

This book is a testament to the inner lives that we all lead and how we are all colored in by so much more than what is socially acceptable or even helpful to talk about to most people. It is my most sincere hope that the experiences realized in this book resonate with the longing to more honestly answer this question and help to soothe those who are in need of love, compassion, or commiseration.

Although the content of this book is set to follow the Mire family, a fictional family trying to confront this very issue, it is my hope that the author's own personal experiences -- the one's that engender these themes will serve to satisfy the reader and clearly illustrate the importance of why we all need people to talk to -- people who will listen and understand.

This book is meant to say and share the things I always wanted to say when, wearing the weight of my smile, I said, "I'm fine".

Clayton’s biggest fear becomes his realty. He sees his culture fading like autumn leaves falling to the earth with no hope of rejuvenating itself like it does when spring arrives and everything starts its journey all over again.

Elizabeth, Clayton’s daughter and mother of Jonathon and Richard, is married to Sakarja Skovdahl, who drinks a lot and frequently beats her. She eventually leaves him and moves in with her parents. Clayton takes on the father role for the boys by teaching them how to fish, speak Tlingit, and sing and dance.

When Jonathon goes off to school, Clayton is proud because he knows an education will prove beneficial in addition to his time-honored teachings. Little does he know Jonathan will be punished for speaking the native tongue. When Jonathon returns for the summer to help his grandfather at fish camp, Clayton is surprised when Jonathan no longer has a desire to speak his own language. After explicit orders from his grandfather not to use the motors for fishing, Jonathon uses them anyway.

Cedric Moore moves to Dry Bay looking for work. He fights inner demons that haunt him because of his war experiences. Despite his inner battles, Cedric does good deeds and he likes the Tlingit culture and people. After helping one of her sons, he forms a relationship with Elizabeth, who he passionately loves

A Cobbler’s Tale is an adventure story about Pincus Potasznik, a second-generation Jewish cobbler, born in a small shtetl in the province of Galicia, part of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.

In 1910, at the historic height of the massive Eastern European immigration wave to the New World, Pincus decides to leave behind his pregnant wife, and three small children, in order to seek a new life for his family in the burgeoning Lower East Side of Manhattan. On his traumatic voyage across the Atlantic Ocean on the SS Amerika steamship, Pincus meets Jakob Adler, a young man running from an accidental murder of a notorious crime boss in Warsaw.

The story also explores the challenges of pregnant Clara Potasznik as she does her best to protect her family, while the bloodiest battles of World War I explode within miles of her family home, a small village called Krzywcza. Moshe, the young son of Pincus and Clara Potasznik, discovers his divine ability to foretell dire events, and to offer real comfort those in pain, taking the reader into the wisdom and mystery surrounding the ancient Jewish mysticism, known as Kabbalah.

A Cobbler’s Tale is a story of a family’s survival against tremendous odds.

Neither fish nor fowl, every immigrant threads the needle between being one of "us" versus one of "them." The plot is both a fantasy and an exercise in exploring ways in which recent African immigrants and African-Americans recognize and embrace each other's cultural differences.

In Harlem, the mecca of black America, immigrants of every complexion live side by side with the descendants of slaves. The story begins with a description of how bullies belittle the twins, Bilal and Nawaal, who are of Nigerian descent. Grandpa Abram and their mother, Ola, do not know how to help the children.

Out of nowhere, a mysterious figure, Abekepi appears, and this fantastic piper offers to rid the neighborhood of bullies for a crazy reward. What follows is an intriguing, and sometimes unsettling, weaving of social themes, in which a supernatural being intervenes to turn the struggles of a single mother and her twins into triumph.

Humans are not the only beings in the universe. There are worlds outside of human knowledge that are complex and have their own rules. Never have these worlds intermixed. That all changed when the King of the Demons fell in love with a goddess of the upper world. Their union produced Shekrya, a forbidden and dangerous combination of both worlds. In order to protect her, Shekrya was sent to Earth without knowing who she was or what she was capable of.

Now, Shekrya uses her power to protect humanity while also avoiding any type of meaningful relationship. This also includes ignoring the stubbornly charming vampire who insists on shadowing her every step. But that is not the end of her problems. She is the only creature in the world that is a combination of both the heavenly and demonic realms. Not only must Shekrya learn how to control her demon and goddess abilities, but she also must avoid the paranormal beings that consider her to be an abomination. Things become even more complicated when humanity is threatened and Shekrya must decide whether or not to continue her solitary life on the run or dive head-first into the world she came from.

"A must read history book. Following a very strong thesis that taxation is the motivator in the development of the nation state Tony Milne blows a lot of cherished ideas of English ( and British ) history out of the water." amazon.com

With Brexit, the Scottish referendum, and the threat to the Irish Peace Agreement if the open borders arrangement ends, England risks returning to its origins as a single-country state, which it was for 500 years from 1066 until 1603.
By quitting Europe, Britain risks losing Scotland, Ulster and maybe even Wales, and returning to the kingdom of England, the state it was from 1066 to 1603. It was a time of Great Men, and Glorious Battles, and Significant Dates like that of 1415, Agincourt, where the English army led by Henry V destroyed the French knights
The truth is that the English king ordered the mass murder of valuable French prisoners who had given their parole, lost his crown and treasure chest to crafty French peasants, and left his army unpaid to starve to death in Calais while he fled home bankrupt and humiliated, he did nothing for the next three years.
But the Myth of England is much more than this. From 1066 to 1603, England's history has been corrupted for political purposes by tax-collectors, foreign invaders and religious maniacs. England was a rich and pleasant land only when it was closely tied by trade to Europe, and at no time worse off than when its leaders went to war with its neighbors, except when these came to conquer and oppress its citizens, and could do so because the economy was weak.

"Another excellent satelitte from Andre. Choose madness. Choose the void. Choose this book. If you read it 13 times in a row, a new book appears on the 14th read." amazon.com

A collection of gnomic wisdom from medieval Italy, published for the first time.

Rare glimpses of an alternative worldview, the fragments collected in this anthology are based on the notations of the "segretari dell’impiccato", executors of a semi-pagan Italian tradition: When criminals were executed, specially-appointed scribes wrote down the hanged men's last words. In the belief that the dying, on the threshold between this world and the next, were privy to special wisdom, these words were collected in special tomes ("antologie dei morti") and mostly destroyed by edict of pope Leo X.

The "antologie" are presented in this bilingual edition (English/Italian) to a world in dire need of a different point of view.

My Conception

True story
My grandmother sent my mother to buy a stick of butter. On her way some young boys were standing around, and one boy said I like you and started walking down the road. After that she returned home with the butter and in nine months I was born.
Back in the 40’s & 50’s, young girls had sex with a boy over and over without using condom and in nine months a baby is born. During that time, mothers’ were too young to take care of the baby and the family had to raise the baby, and this is the same thing that happened to my mother; she had two daughters before she got married.
The same things are going on today with young people, and so many babies are in Foster homes.
I learned we don’t know how we came into this world, but I thank God I am here. What a blessing to feel so special; I thank God, my mother and that young black man who is my father. My mother had a second child by the same young man. What happen and the reason she was born into this world? I guess to have a play mate. I know my Mother and Father loved me and my sister.
Years later my mother got married and had many other children. As time passed I had 7 brothers and one more sister. I know my real mother loved us both, and I know God loves us all.

This is the story of a young black girl who grew up in Savannah, Georgia at the time of segregation. She moved to California to make a better life for herself. She talks about her battle with cancer, abuse and her love for the Lord. Frances is eighty-one years young and loving it.
